On Sunday the 10th if January I went ice skating at the "Nieuwkoopse plassen" again. During the night we had some snow and the weather report said it was going to keep snowing during the day. Because I had already been at the "Nieuwkoopse plassen" a few days earlier I knew the ice there would be OK, even with  little snow. This time I went with my wife, her brother, her brothers girlfriend and her father. My wife just bought new ice skates (Zandstra soft boot combi noren) so we where curious how that was going to work out.

Due to the snow the ice skating was a bit hard at times, but skating through a couple of centimeters of snow was a great experience. We ended up skating approximately 26,5 km. My GPS unit (Garmin eTrex Legend Cx) worked great despite the cold weather, so bellow you'll find the GPS tracklog of our trip:
